Membership contributions may also be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. If a member receives goods or services of substantial value in exchange for a membership payment, only the portion of the payment exceeding the fair market value of those goods or services may qualify as a charitable contribution. Heart Restart Corporation is organized and operated for charitable and educational purposes in support of its mission to promote volunteerism, lifesaving education, CPR and AED awareness and training, emergency preparedness, AED accessibility, and Heart Safe and Rescue Ready communities.No part of the organization's net earnings shall inure to the benefit of any private shareholder or individual, and Heart Restart Corporation will operate in accordance with the requirements applicable to organizations exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.Donors should retain their donation receipts for their records and consult a qualified tax professional regarding their individual tax circumstances.
